English Masses in Rome
Although there are more than 1,000 churches in Rome, it might still be difficult to find a Mass in English. On this page, we have therefore gathered some different churches where you can go to Mass in English during your pilgrimage.
Roman Station Liturgy
During Lent each year, the North American College follows the ancient tradition of the Roman stational liturgy. All are invited to join us for the celebration of English Mass each day at 7:00 am (except Ash Wednesday, which is at 6:45 am). Please note that we do not celebrate neither Sunday Mass nor the Paschal Triduum at the station churches. We are excited to welcome you to join us on this Lenten pilgrimage in 2025!
For more information of the station churches, please visit the Roman Stational Liturgy page.
The churches below offer year-round English Masses, presented in order of vicinity to St. Peter’s Square.

Once inside the Basilica, the meeting point is outside the sacristy (right next to the altar of St. Joseph). The dates for 2024 are:
- January – No Mass due to the Feast of the Epiphany
- February 3, 2024
